The 14th annual High Bridge Pooch Parade, sponsored by the High
Bridge Cultural & Heritage Committee, drew 33 dogs entered with
winners from High Bridge, Annandale, Califon, Whitehouse Station,
Stanton and even as far away as Marshall's Creek PA. We thank all participants for coming out despite it being a rather miserable,
rainy day.
 This year's winners were:
  • Best Small Dog:  Avery, a Yorkie as a Hockey Player
  • Best Medium Dog:  Lady, a Brittany Spaniel as a Beach Volleyball Player
  • Best Large Dog:  Casey Jones, a Golden Retriever as a Golfer
  • Most Creative Costume:   Teddy B, a Japanese Chin, as Tiger Woods
  • Silliest Costume:  Lucy, a Schnoodle, as Dog Ball Canine
  • Best Team Costume:  Vegas, a Golden Retriever Mix, as a Race Car Drive
  • Rookie of the Year (3rd Place):  Minnie, a Corgie, as an Iditarod Racer
  • All Star (2nd Place):  Java, a Yorkie, as a Sumo Champion
  • MVP - Child:  Weston, a Bichon Frise, as Michael Yelps, Olympic Swimmer
  • MVP Adult:  Josette, a Shih-Tzu, as Michele Smith, 2 Time Olympic Softball Gold Medalist
